Bundesliga International GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH and is responsible for the global marketing of the commercial rights owned by Bundesliga. Bundesliga International GmbH’s three business segments Audiovisual Rights, Commercial Partnerships and International Marketing, Digital & Communications – all pursue the clear goal of strengthening Bundesliga’s market position on a sustained basis and of expanding all the marketing activities relating to professional football.

These exciting tasks await you on our pitch 

  • Media Rights: Responsibility for selling international media rights of the Bundesliga in selected markets and contributing to various projects with sales-relevancy (depending on previous experience) to increase revenues, reach and presence of the Bundesliga abroad
  • Sales Processes: Comprehensive planning and implementation of sales processes, including market analysis, trend monitoring, networking, sales pitches and contract negotiations
  • Partner Servicing: First point of contact for broadcast partners in terms of the conduction of contractually agreed content and market initiatives
  • Sales Intelligence: Monitoring and analysis of sales and marketing activities, partner performance and benchmarking in the markets served
  • Market Development: Cooperation with internal departments and partners to strengthen the brand in the respective markets (planning and implementation of marketing activities, content projects, B2B promotion, new business, etc.)

These are the skills you need to be in our starting eleven  

  • Studies: Business administration, sports management, or similar with a focus on marketing, media or international management
  • Professional experience: 5-10 years in sports management/sports media, ideally international and/or related to soccer/the Bundesliga
  • Communication: Strong intercultural communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Languages: Business fluent in English, other foreign languages an advantage
  • Character: Strong commercial mindset, hands-on mentality, team player
