Bundesliga launches a new Content Studio in Mexico

14 February 2025 – The Bundesliga has announced the opening of a content studio in Guadalajara, Mexico, as part of the recently announced partnership with Relevent, reinforcing its commitment to delivering localized, high-quality content to fans across North, Central and South America. This stems from the league’s desire to connect with the passionate football community that exists across the Americas.
As part of this initiative, Bundesliga Americas has hired 14 local professionals, tapping into Guadalajara’s thriving creative industry to enhance its content production capabilities. The new studio is equipped to create a multitude of content formats—ranging from live broadcasts and short-form digital clips to in-depth feature stories—ensuring engaging, multilingual content for fans across all platforms.
The studio will work closely with local rights holders such as ESPN and Sky Mexico to develop custom content that meets their unique needs, further strengthening Bundesliga’s position in the region. With expanded production capacity, Bundesliga will also be able to offer innovative content solutions—including branded content—to commercial partners looking to engage audiences across the Americas. Additionally, the studio will team up with local creators to produce content for the league, generating organic discussions about the Bundesliga within their own online communities.
By establishing this cutting-edge content hub, the Bundesliga continues to lead in sports media innovation, blending global expertise with local talent to deliver a more personalized and immersive fan experience across the region.
Last year, Relevent Sports entered a 17-year collaboration with the Bundesliga to establish a localized operation for the German league, aiming to increase the interest and popularity of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 across North, Central, and South America.
This operation features a dedicated team with closer ties to local markets, media companies, and brands, enabling the production of cross-platform multimedia content designed to engage fans across 35 different countries.
