DFL reschedules postponed Bundesliga 2 matches
19 March 2021 – On Friday, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga announced new dates for the three recently postponed Bundesliga 2 matches. Previously rearranged fixtures from matchdays 27 and 28 have also been rescheduled to allow recovery time for the teams concerned.
The postponed fixture from matchday 25 between 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 and Holstein Kiel will now be played on Tuesday, 6 April (6:30 p.m. CET). As a result, two fixtures on matchday 27 the previous weekend have been swapped: the match between 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 and SpVgg Greuther Fürth will now go ahead on Saturday, 3 April (1:00 p.m. CET), with 1. FC Nürnberg v. SC Paderborn 07 switching to Sunday, 4 April (1:30 p.m. CET).
The other postponed fixture from matchday 25 between Hannover 96 and FC Würzburger Kickers has been rescheduled for Thursday, 8 April (6:30 p.m. CET). As a result, two fixtures on matchday 28 the subsequent weekend have been swapped: the match between SpVgg Greuther Fürth and SV Sandhausen will now go ahead on Friday, 9 April at 6:30 p.m. CET, with FC Würzburger Kickers v. 1. FC Nürnberg switching to Sunday, 11 April at 1:30 p.m. CET.
The postponed match between Holstein Kiel and Hannover 96 from matchday 26 has been rearranged for Wednesday, 14. April (6:30 p.m. CET).
