DFL Ehrenpräsidenten (Honorary Presidents)

To date, the General Assembly of the 36 clubs and limited companies has elected two DFL Ehrenpräsidenten (Honorary Presidents) at the proposal of the Executive Committee of the DFL (formerly the Executive Board of the Ligaverband). This honour is bestowed in recognition of exceptional service to German professional football.
