DFL releases next set of fixture times for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches
1 September 2022 – Following the recent draw for the group phase of the UEFA club competitions, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has now released the exact schedule for Matchdays 8 and 9 of the Bundesliga, and for Matchdays 10 and 11 of Bundesliga 2 for the current 2022-23 season.
Matches confirmed include the “Klassiker” between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München on Matchday 9 (6:30 p.m. CEST on Saturday, 8 October). A day later, Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln will clash in a Rhine derby (3:30 p.m. CEST on Sunday, 9 October). The week before, on Matchday 8, there will be direct encounters between European qualifiers FC Bayern München and Bayer 04 Leverkusen (8:30 p.m. CEST on Friday, 30 September), as well as Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Union Berlin (3:30 p.m. CEST on Saturday, 1 October).
In Bundesliga 2, the current league leaders, SC Paderborn 07, will play the side now in second place, SV Darmstadt 98, on Matchday 10 (6:30 p.m. CEST on Friday, 30 September). Matchday 11 will include a clash between founding members of the Bundesliga, Hamburger SV and 1. FC Kaiserslautern (8:30 p.m. CEST on Saturday, 8 October).
The next set of exact fixtures for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 is expected next week (5-9 September) after the draw for the second round of the DFB-Pokal, which takes place on Sunday.
