Dr Michael Diederich

Dr Michael Diederich, born on 28 August 1965 in Koblenz/Rhineland-Palatinate, has been a member of the Management Board of FC Bayern München AG since 1 April 2023 and has served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer since the end of May of the same year. He previously was member of the Supervisory Board of FC Bayern München AG since 2018.

Diederich studied business administration and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the USA. His professional career began at an auditing firm and continued from the mid-1990s at the former Vereinsbank AG, where he held various positions. In 2015, he became a member of the Management Board for Investment Banking. As Chairman of the Management Board of Unicredit Bank from 2017, he was a member of the Group Executive Committee of the Unicredit Group in Milan.

Diederich is a member of the DFL e.V. Executive Committee since December 2024.
