Bundesliga International

Bundesliga International is based in Frankfurt am Main and was established on 1 July 2017 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DFL. Its predecessor was DFL Sports Enterprises, formed in 2008, which was also a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DFL.

Bundesliga International markets the audiovisual media rights to the matches in the licensed leagues on behalf of the DFL for all platforms abroad, as well as the central sponsorship rights, trademark licenses and digital content of the Bundesliga. It is responsible for the international marketing of the Bundesliga and also acts as a service provider for more than 80 national and international contract partners. The Bundesliga matches are licensed in more than 200 FIFA member countries.

Since 2012, Bundesliga International has also been represented in the Asia-Pacific region with a branch office in Singapore. The 2018-19 season saw the opening of locations in New York and Beijing, thereby creating even closer links with the Americas as well as China, the world’s most populous nation.
