Initiative Profisport Deutschland (IPD)

Since its formation in 2009, Initiative Profisport Deutschland (IPD) has lobbied for the common political interests of the four most popular German professional leagues.

The IPD serves as a forum for dialogue between the four leagues, puts topics of relevance to professional sport on the political agenda and supports regulatory developments at federal and state level.
