Bundesliga once again the most attended league in Europe

15.01.2018 – The Bundesliga once again recorded the highest attendance figures of all European football leagues in 2016/17. The findings were revealed on Monday in the official Fan Attendance Report published by the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL), which was founded in 2005 and now represents 32 professional European football leagues and more than 900 clubs from 25 countries.

The Bundesliga’s average attendance of 40,693 spectators per game last season was by far the largest in Europe. According to the EPF Fan Attendance Report, the English Premier League (35,838) was next, followed by Spain’s LaLiga (27,609), Italy’s Serie A (22,177) and France’s Ligue 1 (21,208).
