Slate wins SportsInnovation Award
Bringing the curtain down on day one of SportsInnovation 2022, tech start-up Slate were presented with the SportsInnovation Award trophy by DFL Executive Vice-President of Digital Innovations Andreas Heyden and Sports Pro’s Director of Business Operations & Strategy Jon Abraham.
Slate is a content creation and asset management platform that allows sports teams and media organisations to create on-brand social media content within seconds. During SportsInnovation, delegates were also able to test out the product for themselves.
Launched in December 2021, the SportsInnovation Award sought to highlight tech providers that are changing the game. A global panel of experts had the tough job of picking five finalists, before Slate were crowned winners of the inaugural award.
Slate COO William Brooke was in attendance to accept the trophy, with the company also receiving a growth support package from SportsPro and DFL valued at US$100,000.
