Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2: Fixtures until the start of December

4 September 2019 – Now that the match dates for the group stage of the European club competitions have been set, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has released the exact match schedules for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 up to the start of December.

Bundesliga fixtures have now been set from Matchday 7 to Matchday 13. On Matchday 9, the “Revierderby” between Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 will take place on Saturday afternoon (26 October, 3:30 p.m. CEST). Saturday of Matchday 10 will see the clash between the two clubs from the capital, 1. FC Union Berlin and Hertha Berlin (2 November, 6:30 p.m. CEST). Saturday evening of Matchday 11, the Bundesliga champions FC Bayern München will meet the runners-up Borussia Dortmund (9 November, 6:30 p.m. CEST).

This season, there will again be five matches on Sunday early afternoon and five fixtures on Monday evening, which will primarily be used to ease the strain on the clubs participating in the UEFA Europa League. Accordingly, Borussia Mönchengladbach will host FC Augsburg on Sunday afternoon of Matchday 7 (6 Oktober, 1:30 p.m. CEST). Borussia Mönchengladbach will also play host to SV Werder Bremen on Sunday afternoon of Matchday 11 (10 November, 1:30 p.m. CEST). On Matchday 13, 1. FSV Mainz 05 and Eintracht Frankfurt will play each other on Monday evening (2 December, 8:30 p.m. CEST).

The exact fixtures of Bundesliga 2 have been set from Matchday 9 to Matchday 15. Saturday of Matchday 11 will see the encounter between the current league leaders Hamburger SV and the team currently in second place, VfB Stuttgart (26 October, 1:00 p.m. CEST).

The schedules for the fixtures leading up to the winter break are expected to be announced in calendar week 40 (30 September to 4 October).
