Bundesliga Experience Vietnam brings unique German football atmosphere to Ho Chi Minh City
14 June 2022 – The Bundesliga and Next Media are teaming up to bring the Bundesliga Experience back to Ho Chi Minh City, delivering a taste of German football to Vietnam at the AEON Mall Tan Phu on June 25-26. Bundesliga Experiences are an opportunity for fans around the world to see what German football is all about up close and to give new fans a tangible touchpoint with the Bundesliga. Each Experience is unique, with a range of activities and competitions, as well as special guests in attendance.
One of the highlights of the Bundesliga Experience Vietnam will be the “2v2 Cage” football tournament on the first day, where a total of 64 players will compete for a range of great Bundesliga prizes, including signed club jerseys, balls, and mini versions of the Meisterschale trophy. On day 2, 18 teams will have the chance to show their calm under pressure in the penalty shoot-out competition. As well as the official competitions, attendees can try their hand at various football skill challenges, such as the goal-wall or timed sprint challenges.
Star names added to the roster
Borussia Dortmund legend and former goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller will attend the Bundesliga Experience, speaking with fans and signing autographs. In 16 seasons with the Black and Yellows, Weidenfeller won two Bundesliga championships and two DFB-Pokals, as well as the FIFA World Cup 2014 with the German national team.
Furthermore, mascots from FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund will also be interacting with football fans throughout the two-day festival, bringing joy and excitement to football fans of all ages.
