DFL Ordinary Assembly this Thursday
14 May 2020 – DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga will meet once again for an Ordinary Assembly of the 36 clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 this Thursday (14 May). The meeting via video conference had already been arranged during the Ordinary Assembly on 7 May.
Apart from general information about the current situation and intended changes to the statutes in relation to this, the binding integration of the “Sports Medicine / Special Match Operations Task Force” concept as an appendix in the DFL match regulations is among the topics on the agenda. Moreover, a decision will be made on whether to increase the number of substitutes to five for the current season after the International Football Association Board (IFAB) opened up this possibility.
The clubs are currently carrying out the fourth round of mandatory coronavirus tests on players and in the team environment. However, because the tests are no longer carried out in sync, as they were before team training was re-introduced, the DFL can no longer publish central overviews. The communication concerning this matter is the responsibility of the clubs, which are also informed about this.
