Further fixtures for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2

9 November 2023 – With the DFB Pokal round of 16 matches now set, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga can confirm the exact dates and times for the next set of Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fixtures, namely Matchday 14-18 of the Bundesliga, and for Matchday 16-18 of the Bundesliga 2.

In the Bundesliga, Matchday 14 will include the game between UEFA Champions League participants Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig (Saturday, 9 December, 6:30 p.m. CET). One day later, VfB Stuttgart, currently third in the table, will face leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Sunday, 10 December, 3:30 p.m. CET). The following weekend, FC Bayern München will host VfB Stuttgart (Sunday, 17 December, 7:30 p.m. CET).

The last Bundesliga matches of 2023 will take place mid-week on Tuesday, 19 December, and Wednesday, 20 December. The league will resume on Friday, 12 January, with the game between FC Bayern München and TSG Hoffenheim, which will kick off at 8:30 p.m. CET.

In the Bundesliga 2, Matchday 16 features current league leader FC St. Pauli, who will visit VfL Osnabrück on Saturday evening (9 December, 8:30 p.m. CET). The following weekend, the first half of the season ends with Matchday 17, including the clash between Holstein Kiel, currently fifth, and Hannover 96, currently third (Saturday, 16 December, 8:30 p.m. CET). After the winter break, Bundesliga 2 kicks off again on Friday, 19 January, when Karlsruher SC play VfL Osnabrück, while Holstein Kiel faces Eintracht Braunschweig, both at 6:30 p.m. CET.

The next set of exact fixtures for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 is expected in calendar week 51 (18-22 December), after the draw for the DFB-Pokal quarter final and the next rounds of the European club competitions have taken place.
