Born in Mannheim in 1973, Jörg Degenhart has been Executive Vice President of Finance, IT & Organisation since 1 July 2010, and has been on the Management Board since 2015. Before joining the DFL, he worked for Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen as an auditor, tax consultant and an authorised signatory. Since December 2013, Degenhart has been on the DFL Foundation Council. In addition, he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Liga Travel GmbH, a member of the DFL Digital Sports GmbH Supervisory Board, Member and Head of the DFL e.V. Finance Commission, in first instance a member of the board responsible for the licensing procedure and Deputy Chairman of the DFB’s Examination Board.
