After studying sports science, Oke Göttlich, born in Hamburg in 1975, became an entrepreneur in the music production and digital music distribution business and also worked as a journalist. From 2012 to 2017, he was a board member at Merlin BV, a business agent and lobbyist for over 20,000 independent record labels in the digital rights sector. He has been President of FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V. since 2014. In August 2019, he was elected to the DFL e.V. Executive Committee at the DFL General Assembly.
