Born in Worms in 1973, Oliver Leki studied business administration at the University of Mannheim before initially working for the consulting firms Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. He then worked for 1. FC Köln in various roles, most recently as Managing Director. In 2013, he joined Sport-Club Freiburg e.V. as Managing Director and has been the club’s Chief Financial, Organisation and Marketing Officer since October 2014. Since 2019, Oliver Leki has been 2nd Deputy Speaker of the DFL e.V. Executive Committee and therefore also Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH.
